FOOD AT BOHNE & MALZ AT STACHUS

At Bohne and Malz, we combine tradition and trendiness, hearty Bavarian specialities with light, modern kitchen, urban living and Bavarian hospitality.
Here you mainly enjoy a traditional Bavarian kitchen, newly designed and interpreted. We cook with good and fresh ingredients and a lot of love for the product. For us, sustainability is more than a “nice to have.” The Bohne and Malz is now known for over 20 years for its use of seasonal and regional ingredients.

For our animal products...

we have a regular meat market, Metzgerei RIX FLEISCH in Munich, in contrast to normal mass husbandry from abroad.

Through that, we support regional farmers and maintain a close relationship with them.

Our “Weißwurst” are from Sendling from the Sendling butchery Bauch. In second generation they slaughter at their own slaughter halls.





We get our daily bread...

we get from the family bakery La Parisienne in Munich, which meets the Naturland standards.

These are even stricter than the EU organic regulation and symbolize what we mean by good bread.

Frozen bread? Not at our place!





We obtain our fruits and vegetables...

from the “Großmarkthalle,” a big regional market hall in Munich, where our head chef selects the ingredients seasonally a couple of times a week.






Organic Eggs

The most fragile ingredient, the organic egg, is from the family owned business Eierhof Engl in Velden.

Fore more than 55 years Eierhof Engl produces high quality and organic eggs at their outdoor animal farm.
